Open to ideas! I don't want to seem like we're speaking for the sub by making a sub Twitter account so I'd host it with my own account .. at least that's what I've done for earnings calls already

Why not link to FluffyTrex's weekly summary post on the twitter account? That'll keep it highly informative but free of excess posts.

We don't have an official Superstonk account. Plat or myself will tweet, but not really in a mod capacity.

If only the account had been named "Superstonk Mod Opinions".

"Account that's just the Superstonk mods hosting stuff for the sub and providing updates for the sub but it's not officially a 'sub twitter' because Superstonk is a collective of individuals with no core representative entity that can speak for them" Is there a character limit for Twitter? /j

it wasnt going to be for opinions.. we were going to tweet out the dd library first, then do popular posts by trying to incorporate it with the qvbot and upvotes.. but the idea got shot down immediately so we haven't really revisited

another thing we could do is have a voice chat in the Superstonk Discord covering various topics - we added a VC there recently

The only complaint I get with voice chat is that since it's not recorded, if people aren't listening in they feel it's really suspect. I suppose recording it and putting it to youtube is a questionable idea though.

Twitter spaces can be recorded, and we could definitely record in the discord. I wouldn't do a live youtube stream but we could have events recorded for later.. I actually meant to record the earnings call we did last time but forgot lol

OBS is lightweight and can stream to disc

I don't recommend Streamlabs as it's way more resource hog than it should be, but it is much easier to set up.
