How the Superstonk Community Corps functions Your role as an SCC member is to act as a bridge between the moderation team and the community. You are selected members of this community that will help out by adding a layer of transparency and communal discussion to the moderating process. In simple terms you will be able to communicate with the mod team about content on Superstonk and ultimately vote on what you believe is the correct way to handle the content. Some posts are difficult to moderate in the communities best interest as the line between what is and isn’t acceptable content can be gray and up for debate. Your role will be to assist the moderation team in making choices that are in the communities best interest by discussing and voting on what action should be taken for certain posts. In addition to this you will be able to bring content to the moderation team that you believe should be moderated or moderated differently. This allows you to add in another layer of discussion on posts that otherwise wouldn’t happen. This may result in nothing changing or it may result in changing the moderation of the post. Occasionally the moderation team will have questions for the SCC about how they believe a certain part of the subreddits operations should be changed. The goal of doing this would be to get community feedback and discussion. For example when changing a rule we might bring the wording change of the rule to the SCC to get their feedback and hopefully create an overall more refined end product.

How to bring content for removal/approval to the team As well as the below reasons for removal/approval we’d appreciate it if you could give any additional context or reasoning behind your bringing a post up for questioning. For potential removals: When bringing content on the sub up for question we’d like you to use the following format to help make sure we understand what you believe makes the content unacceptable for the sub: I think this post should be removed. my rationale is as follows: It violates rule _ It is divisive There are other similar posts and therefore it’s redundant It’s breaking Reddit terms of service For potential approvals: When bringing content removed from the sub up for question we’d like you to use the following format to help make sure we understand what you believe makes the content acceptable for the sub: It’s 90% GME focused Even though it is debunked information it has value The comment section is civil and the community is doing its job against misinformation It seems mistakenly removed

How to bring Suggestions to the team Should you have any thoughts or suggestions you’d like to bring to the mod team and SCC’s attention please make a post in this channel: https://discord.com/channels/1098133959843512320/1113115382333571102 It’d be ideal if you could check that your suggestion hasn’t already been made and to give as much detail as you can. You are all encouraged to engage with and discuss other members' suggestions. Perhaps the original suggestion will end up not being possible but the discussion might bring about something else that’s valuable to the subreddit.

Who to go to for help Should you have any issues or concerns that you’d like to bring up confidentially then please send them to any Superstonk Moderator. If your issue is with a Superstonk moderator specifically then you can direct your message to Lyrad or Luma the current Superstonk Admins.
