Rule 1: Be Nice • Absolutely no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated. • Broadcasting any user's personal information is strictly forbidden, irrespective of prior permission. Zero tolerance for doxxing. • Everybody MUST treat each other with courtesy and respect. Debate the points of the argument in good faith, but please don't make personal attacks against another user. There's never an excuse to be rude. Keep everything civil in here. • Please try and keep political discussions narrowly focused to market-specific and non-inflammatory topics. Generally speaking, partisan talking points are usually divisive, so keep it focused on the business at hand: GME and Superstonk. • We’re all adults – please don’t manufacture drama. Communicate constructively. • Taking screenshots of this discord is permitted, but using them to violate rule 1 is not. Using screenshots to support a factual statement is fine. Rule 2: Stay SFW • This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, sex, hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content. • Occasionally, you may be exposed to content posted to the sub that is NSFW. When being discussed or shared, “spoilers” and trigger warnings are a respectful way of allowing people to opt-in to discussions of such content. Rule 3: Keep channel discussion on-topic (as much as possible) • Each channel has a description of what is relevant at the top of it. Try to keep off-topic discussion (which are fun and fine) to the casual channels, and keep work related items in the serious channels. • You may be asked to move side conversations to a casual channel if they are sliding discussions, please do not take offense. Rule 4: No spam or self monetization • Spam, including sending unsolicited marketing messages, is a violation of Discord's Terms of Service. • You may not promote your social media or personal projects, this isn't the place. • Use common sense. Don't spam. No copypastas. No walls of text. If you think that something might not be allowed, please don't post it. Rule 5: No subreddit interference • There is not to be brigading or mass upvote/downvote coordinating of any kind. • You may not call attention to a post with the intent of persuading public opinion on it in one way or another (i.e. "look at this post, it only has 20 upvotes"). • You may discuss other subreddits in the context of GME content that is posted there, but under no circumstances are we allowing coordination of any interference with those subs. Rule 6: SCC are advisors not moderators • This group is an advisory group to the mod team. There will be instances where your recommendations are agreed to by the mod team. There will be instances where we do not agree. In such instances, specific reasoning(s) for the final call will be communicated as clearly as is possible. Mods have the final say. However, we pledge to interact in good faith to take your collective input into consideration in all decisions you are involved in. Rule 7: No Other Tickers • Superstonk’s core mission statement is built around the promotion and bull-hypothesis around a singular ticker: GME. • Under no circumstances are other tickers to be encouraged for discussion in Superstonk, EXCEPT in instances where clear and demonstrable connections can be made back to GME.
