Hey there! It's that time of year again when we gather together for a holiday celebration and a little something extra - a volunteer drive with a twist. You might remember our previous years' efforts with Toys for Tots, but this year, we've got a new game plan that's as exciting as it is charitable.
Here's the scoop:
We wanted to make this year's holiday drive unique to our community, and what's more unique than sharing the GameStop love? Unfortunately, we couldn't arrange physical donations of GameStop goods with Toys for Tots this time around.
Introducing the GameStop Happy Holidays 2023 Drive!
Here's how it works:
Find an organization you support: It could be a local hospital, a school, a daycare, or any nonprofit close to your heart. If there are some you favor, leave them in the comments below for others to check out.
Drop by your local GameStop or gamestop.com: Grab something, anything, from your favorite gaming store. It could be a game, a gaming accessory, or even some swanky GameStop merchandise.
Spread the joy: Post a picture of your receipt and the items you've purchased, but remember, safety first – protect your personal information! Let your fellow Redditors see your fantastic contribution and let us know who/what orgnazation is getting your donation.
Use the flair: #VeryGmerryXmas. This way, we can easily spot your posts and celebrate your generous spirit. People who don't want to play can also filter the content out.
Why are we doing this?
